Please report sightings of any hazards to Email: admin@ballaratriders.com George's Dry July Update George is in his last week come on people dig deep for this great cause and sponsor George I can hear all of the disbelievers saying "Fong? AFD ... maybe and that's pushing it .... but an entire month???"
Believe it or don't.
Not quite there yet. The drought breaks at midnight on Saturday and I *will be having a glass of red at 12.01am on 1st August.
But I will make it ... apart from anything else, I promised Maree who made the first donation and a sizeable one at that!
Not too late to donate - the link is below. Its been fun having some fun with this and I probably needed a break :-)
But there was a not so fun reason for the drive and that is to raise money for the Royal Melbourne (at least in Vic), a place where many cancer sufferers will come to know if they are serious enough. We all know someone .... and in my case I know a couple of very special ppl in particular, both with young families. How I wish ......
So far the drive has netted nearly $2million nationwide for various cancer units. Can't be a bad thing. If you can and if you are not committed to any other cause, please consider donating. Here's the link:
For those who have donated or have equally importantly been encouraging me on, thanks heaps. As I said, not there yet but I don't aim to let any of you down!
Cheers and thanks
